J.R. Cox is a Central Florida native who joined the Marine Corps at 23 years old after September 11, 2001. While stationed at Camp Pendleton, California, he married his 19 year old college sweetheart, Kayla. A combat deployment, a few years and three kids later, they hit the road in a Class-C RV and visited 37 states. It was on this adventure that J.R. realized how much he loved being creative. After two years of full-time traveling, they landed in beautiful Central Florida, where they currently reside under the towering and sprawling live oak trees and Spanish moss.
In J.R.’s spare time (Hah!) he enjoys walking in nature, thinking about how to spend more time with his family and figuring how he can convince his wife that he needs a motorcycle.
